Warsaw taxis are easily available and not too expensive, costing around 2 PLN/km (4 PLN/km during the night time). They can be waved down on the street, but it’s preferable to order a taxi by phone. Apps such as Taxify and Uber are highly popular ways of booking taxis.

The best way to get around the city is on foot or using public transport. Buy your ticket from the ticket machines or Mobile App and travel around the city by bus, tram and metro an unlimited number of times for the time specified on the ticket.

Remember that your ticket must be validated immediately after entering the bus, tram or gates on the metro station!
